Testimonials
Geoff,
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for the wonderful dry stone walling workshop this weekend. It was a truly enriching experience, and I greatly appreciated your patience and expertise as you introduced us to this ancient and meaningful craft that has accompanied humanity through the ages.
The class was not only informative but also fun and lighthearted, which made the learning process all the more enjoyable. I was particularly struck by how you encouraged each participant to share their personal stories and what drew them to this timeless art, creating a sense of connection and shared purpose.
Please also extend my gratitude to Louise for her extraordinary hospitality. She went above and beyond to ensure we were well-fed and comfortable, and her beautiful property provided the perfect setting for the workshop.
Thank you once again for such an inspiring workshop.
Warm regards,
NAJI

I'm so happy with the course, I certainly learnt a lot in just the two days. If I'm involved in building any in the future I'll make sure to send some photos through for your own curiosity. - Michael
Thanks for awesome experience of DSW workshop, Dan and I enjoyed and got a lot out of it. - Antho
Thanks for the photos. Everything turned out so well, as far as we are concerned. I am looking forward to carrying on with the walling in the weeks ahead. I have put together a collection of the photos I took, plus a 15 minute compilation of the videos as well. They are accessible via a Google Photos album by clicking on the following link https://photos.app.goo.gl/WkoVZdKsketCqHsu9

It is very rare that I remain engaged in any physical activity for longer than fifteen minutes, yet having survived your course for two full days is testament to your ability to share your love and skills of your art at a level that has even the likes of me enthralled. As I sit here four days later still aching in every muscle and looking at the photo of the finished wall, I am infused with the warm glow of achievement that I was part of something unique. For this I thank you.
PS. The rock cakes were excellent. - Mervyn
Thanks again for a great weekend! Learned a lot, and didn’t even throw my back out… Appreciate all you taught us, and I dare say we will be in touch to talk about some walls down at our land in Little Hartley in due course. - Cheers Mac
