What we do
Geogenic Landscapes is a multi faceted, family landscape design, construction and horticultural consultancy team led by Geoff Duggan. We have more than sixty years combined experience in the landscape design, thematic planning, landscape construction and management of gardens from small residential and rural to major botanic gardens in Australia and in Vietnam. We offer a full range of landscaping services including excavator and tipper hire.
Meet the team
Geoff Duggan - has an extensive skills set base, with trade and tertiary qualifications in Urban Horticulture, Permaculture, Structural Landscaping, Landscape Technician, Dry Stone Walling Master Craftsman, Dry Stone walling advanced instructor and examiner, Cert IV in Training and Assessment, AutoCad Drafting, Diploma of Horticulture and Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. Some of his work is on public display at the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan where he led design, project management, construction and thematic planning for more than 20 years. Other projects have included Botanic Garden Master Planning and consultancy work in Laos and Vietnam's National Parks network, various private commissions for domestic clients and community gardens. Geoff is also a committee member of the Dry Stone Walling Association of Australia managing the portfolio of Training / Certification / Workshops.
Genevieve Duggan - is a professional horticulturist who has worked in the industry for over 30 years. She has specialist skills and qualifications in Horticulture, Permaculture, Bush Regeneration, Australian native plant ornamental displays and plant propagation. She has a deep passion for the natural environment and organic gardening. She lives in the Southern Highlands of NSW with her husband and family on their property where she has an extensive garden of native plants, plant nursery, vegetable gardens, orchard and free range chickens
James Duggan - is a qualified structural landscaper with specialist skills in dry stone walling and machinery operation including excavators, tippers, front end loaders and forklifts. He spent part of his apprenticeship training in the UK alongside a number of well respected Master Craftsman dry stone wallers.
