Testimonials
We were lucky enough to have our yard made over by Geoff and James. We were absolutely thrilled with their expertise and passion to their work. Jen chose wonderful native plants for all areas, including permanently shady areas. We still get a thrill walking in our garden. Bruce and Margo - Figtree
“After moving into my new home, I needed some inspiration & help in transforming my backyard from a plain grassed area into my dream of a tropical oasis. I consulted with Geoff Duggan from Geogenic Landscapes who was able to design exactly what I wanted. Geoff & his team designed the garden, prepared & established the garden beds, supplied & planted that plants. The centrepiece of the garden is a stone flagged seating area with stone steps & stone garden edging. Geoff has transformed my whole backyard into an area that gives me so pleasure & has added enormous value to my home. Joanne G Calderwood
“From a green lawn to a grand entrance ”
We had always envisioned a stone path from our arbour, and footstep to our gazebo.
But we never imagined the grand craftmanship and artistry that would be created by Geoff Duggan from Geogenic Landscapes.
Geoff Duggan exceeded our expectations for punctuality, attentiveness, intricacy, and innovation.
Our stone path and footstep will continue to stand the test of time against mother nature’s natural elements and the footprints of little ones for generations to come.
With great sincerity we would highly recommend Geoff Duggan from Geogenic Landscapes to turn your next mood board into a view from your kitchen window.
Until our next project,
Karen and Rodney – Sydney, Australia.
A few years ago (late 2016, early 2017), we were faced with the potential collapse of a major dry-stone wall, situated adjacent to a tidal area, and affected by the root system of a large Moreton Bay Fig. For a variety of reasons, we wanted to maintain the dry-stone nature of the original wall.
We sought advice from several contractors, ranging from single operators to Tier 2 builders.
Geoff Duggan, from Geogenic Landscapes, was the only one who impressed us with his knowledge of dry-stone walling and the complexities of a major rebuild.
He was able to supply us with a rebuild methodology, including scaffolding.
We engaged Geogenic Landscapes to rebuild our wall, and can highly recommend them.
The finished job has elicited very favourable comments from visitors and our neighbours alike, and as such, we fully endorse the works performed by Geogenic Landscapes

Geoff Duggan from Geogenic Landscapes has worked at my Mount Wilson property, “Kashmir”, for several months. I look forward to our continued work together. Our original contract was for basalt stone wall restoration, but this grew as Geoff has been able to fulfill all the landscape building requirements needed here at Kashmir. This includes widening and compacting pathways. Building major formwork structures required for concrete to include stairs. Not only did he build drystone walls, but he also reinforced the walls using concrete where needed. Geoff prepared, mixed, and laid his own concrete. He arranged premixed concrete and concrete pump for larger areas. He was able to install steel where needed. Geoff sourced and liaised with suppliers, obtaining quotes and arranging deliveries as well as specialised trades including stone cutting. He managed the site and directed trades. Geoff arranged and managed sandstone cutting on site as well as prepared stone direct from quarries.
Work included terracing so he prepared the sloping site by removing surface and backfilling with rock. Compacting the site to make it solid and functional for vehicles. Geoff used his excavator for demolition and preparing existing landscape on a large-scale including carving out features in preparation for drystone walls, concrete and stonework. He is currently building stacked sandstone pillars, sandstone block steps; to match existing steps including extra sandstone treads. Excavation and compaction were completed using his own machinery. Larger machinery was bought in and used as required.
The basalt walls have been expertly placed and not only are they now functional, but they also are extremely aesthetically pleasing. Already the work has been highly complimented by other trades in the area. Geoff was able to explain to myself all processes and functions of drystone walling and all other works. Geoff completes work to a high degree of quality in a timely fashion.
Geoff has a process of design to work with existing structures and geography. He creates artistic work to build functional pieces. This is an innate quality and one which I regard greatly as I hope to open my garden to the public and showcase Geoff's work which is now a major feature of the property. Katherine H - Mount Wilson
Amazing to watch the rare and pure craftsmanship in action carried out by Geoff and his team. Geogenic was able to transform our courtyard to having a resort feel about. Geoff totally explained every process with us through the design stage to all the intricacies of construction of our stone masterpiece. We have recommended him to others. Anne and Peter - Moss Vale
